Cicy is a recipient of numerous competition honors, including top prizes at the Chopin Northwest Festival and Seattle Pacific University Annual Concerto Competition. In 2024, she won the University of Washington Concerto Competition and performed Beethoven’s monumental “Emperor” Concerto with the Northwest Sinfonietta at Meany Hall. Her repertoire also includes Ravel’s Jeux d’eau and Piano Concerto in G major, which she has performed in distinguished venues throughout Seattle.


​An active chamber musician, Cicy has performed at the Seattle Art Museum, Suzzallo Library, University of Nevada School of Music, and the Borromeo Music Festival in Altdorf, Switzerland. She has collaborated with numerous distinguished musicians and has participated in masterclasses with numerous artists, including Emanuel Ax, Angela Cheng, Garrick Ohlsson, Jerome Rose, Christopher Harding, and Jean Louis Haguenauer.

Cicy Li is a pianist, music educator, and collaborative artist whose musical journey spans three continents and includes performances at major universities, concert venues, festivals, and cultural institutions in the United States and Europe.


​Born in Shenzhen, China, Cicy began studying piano at the age of 3 and a half. At 14, she began her studies in the U.S., eventually moving to Seattle to pursue a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance at Seattle Pacific University, where she studied with Dr. Dainius Vaicekonis. She earned her Master of Music degree at the University of Washington under Dr. Robin McCabe and is currently pursuing her doctoral studies with Dr. McCabe at UW.
